Job Purpose/Summary
The Outreach and Registration Coordinator plays a key role in promoting the organization’s programs and services to the community, cultivating relationships with potential participants, and managing the client registration process. This position ensures that community members are informed, engaged, and successfully enrolled in services offered by the organization. They will be responsible for all aspects of the Sacred Path registration process, including helping clients complete the registration at in person events, contacting clients to follow up on registration forms/missing information and ensuring that the participant database is up to date. The Outreach and Registration Coordinator will collaborate with other members of the Sacred Path team to ensure that the organization is well represented at outreach events and that community members are linked to services.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Outreach and Engagement

Represent the organization at community events, meetings and other venues to build visibility and partnerships. - Distribute flyers, social media content, and other outreach materials in alignment with the organization’s communication strategy.
- Build and maintain relationships with community-based organizations and other relevant partners.
Client Registration

Conduct agency registration for participants in person, by phone, and online. - Accurately collect and enter participant data into program databases and management systems.
- Schedule appointments and follow up with community members, as needed.
- Ensure all registration documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with funding and confidentiality requirements.
Coordination and Support

Collaborate with program staff to ensure smooth transitions from outreach to service delivery. - Maintain updated knowledge of program eligibility criteria, schedules, and services.
- Attend workshops/events, as required, to perform outreach and registration tasks, as well as offer support as needed.
- Track outreach activities and prepare regular reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Other Duties

Experience & Qualifications

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in community outreach, client services, or registration/intake roles, preferably in a nonprofit setting. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual (e.g., Spanish) highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational and data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in Google Workspace
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Education
Associate or Bachelor's degree in social services, communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
License/Certifications

- Interact with people in a professional and respectful manner, both verbally and in writing.
- Some key skills in this area include active listening, clear verbal/written communication, cultural humility, collaboration, time-management, adaptability and adhering to ethical standards such as confidentiality.
Technology Skills
- Basic computer literacy - be able to use a laptop to complete needed tasks for a job.
- Able to utilize technology tools for virtual sessions.
Position Qualification Preferences
- Experience working with the American Indian/Alaska Native community.
Work Environment

Physical Demands
The physical demands described are typical of those required by an employee to perform the primary functions of this job successfully. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk frequently, sit, bend, twist, talk, and hear. There are prolonged periods of sitting, keyboarding, and driving as well. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include reading, distance, computer, and color vision. Talking and hearing are essential to communicate with vendors and staff. This position requires onsite and off-site work, as well as evening/weekend hours, as needed.
Mental Demands
There are some deadlines associated with this position. The employee must also multi-task and interact with other team members.

- Pass fingerprint clearance
- Maintain annual negative TB test results on file
- Pass a post-offer drug test
- Possess and maintain a reliable vehicle with valid CA driver’s license and active auto insurance
- Available to work evenings and weekends
- Willing to travel, as needed (travel time could range from 30 - 50%)
Flexible work from home options available.
Compensation: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
Sacred Path Indigenous Wellness Center was developed to contribute to the wellness of American Indian/Alaska Native communities by engaging key strategies to provide much needed culturally-relevant, integrated, trauma responsive health and behavioral health services, conduct community-based participatory research, and provide technical assistance, training and consultative services to other tribal and urban Native organizations.
