Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization’s facilities, including cleanliness, repairs, and maintenance.
- Monitor building systems (e.g., plumbing, electrical, and security) to identify problems promptly and coordinate solutions with the appropriate contact.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards.
- Coordinate facility-related projects, renovations, and space planning.
- Manage relationships with maintenance personnel, custodial staff, and contractors.
- Oversee vendor contracts and service agreements.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and resolve issues.
- Maintain records of maintenance, inspections, and compliance documentation.
- Serve as the point of contact for facility emergencies and after-hours issues.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and accessible environment for all building occupants.
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines; will involve working with Security personnel.
- Responsible for transporting youth to and from appointments, activities or program locations in a safe, timely and efficient manner
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the organization’s vehicle.
- Check the condition of a vehicle's tires, brakes, windshield wipers, lights, fuel, and safety equipment to ensure that everything is in working order.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; Report any vehicle malfunctions or needed repairs promptly.
- Refill gas and track expenses, as needed.
- Assist individuals with entering/exiting vehicles as needed, ensuring dignity and safety.
- Maintain accurate transportation logs and schedules.
- Communicate with staff and community members to coordinate transportation needs.
- Follow all traffic laws and organizational policies and procedures.
- Provide friendly, respectful, and professional service at all times.
- Support staff in the planning, organizing, and coordinating of space for events & services.
- Support setup and breakdown for organization events and programs.
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience working in Facilities or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and facility management software.
- Experience driving for an organization or working with vulnerable populations is a plus.
Compensation: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Sacred Path Indigenous Wellness Center was developed to contribute to the wellness of American Indian/Alaska Native communities by engaging key strategies to provide much needed culturally-relevant, integrated, trauma responsive health and behavioral health services, conduct community-based participatory research, and provide technical assistance, training and consultative services to other tribal and urban Native organizations.
